I want to apologize to all of my readers. I am so sorry I haven't written before this. I just couldn't.
The director of the mission where I am a missionary felt that it was not a good idea for the missionaries to have a blog or a facebook and I was told this back in March. I had to make a decision. If I wanted to be a missionary I had to give up my blog. It broke my heart so much that I haven't looked at my blog or anyone else's since then. I decided to make another year of promises back on Divine Mercy Sunday and gave up my blog. It has been very difficult for me.
I just now am able to start reading other blogs and I will check in on my friends in the blogging world within the next few days. I am giving up my blog for now, but I make my missionary promise one year at a time, so if I ever decide that God has another plan for me, I will be back to writing.
If you want to keep in touch with me, my email address is missionmama@roadrunner.com. Please feel free to write to me. I am allowed to make comments on other people's blogs and so I will be able to keep in touch too.
Please keep me in your prayers. I am still unsettled about all of this but I want to live God's will for my life. For right now, this is it, and out of obedience, I give up my blog.
My hubby did not become a missionary this year due to being in school and a promotion at work- yea! But he is so wonderful and so supportive! I am blessed.
Thank you everyone for all of your support!
In His Mercy, Michelle
I was wondering what happened to both of you (I've tried nudging you guys a few times in a different ways if you've noticed lol) I'm very glad to hear that this is done through an act of obedience, St. Faustina would't have it any other way. God bless you and you have remained and will remain in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteNow, that doesn't explain your hubby's complete absence (except for his respones to my nudges...)
Christopher, it is so awesome to be in touch with you again. I missed you and your comments. I will be catching up on your blog over the next few days-so watch out for my comments. Hubby has been taking care of me, I had a partial knee replacement in June and he has been wonderful! You gotta bug him though, he always laughs at your comments to him!
ReplyDeleteMichelle, I know how hard it is to quit blogging. I tried last May. Made it for two weeks and since then have at least cut back to one or two posts a week instead of daily. It truly does make me a better wife and mother when I don't spend so much time on the computer. I admire your obedience, but truly miss your wonderful sense of humor, as well as your husband's. You both always gave me something to smile about! Glad to know the reason behind the absence. Hope all is well with your knee now! God bless you dear!
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to hear from you Anne. Thank you so much. I am looking forward to catching up on your blog-your thoughts always uplifted mine to a higher level. I have missed you and missed reading your blog the most. I am looking forward to getting back to the swing of things. God bless you too Anne. ps. hopefully Dave will get back to writing and I could be a guest writer. Who knows what God has planned for me? I have a feeling I will be back someday. Until then, I will read my favorite blogs-like yours!
ReplyDeletei was just thinking of you today for some odd reason.
ReplyDeleteaww Kimmy, that's so awesome. I will be checking up on your blog-it helps me remember the days when my older ones were little- all the craziness and fun! And I wish I knew what the Chinese messages are. I keep getting them and have no idea what they say!
ReplyDeleteLOL !
ReplyDeleteGlad to know what happened. I had just discovered you when you stopped.
ReplyDeleteWell, shoot. I clicked over here because the name of your blog caught my attention right away. Always Room for One More is such a profound statement with so few words. I'm glad just to read it! I am the oldest of nine, mother of five ... with room for at least one more, God willing! I intend to look through your blog and enjoy while I still can! :) Cheers from Nebraska!
ReplyDeleteMichelle-those Chinese messages are spam that link to other websites-usually pornography. I know that you will want to delete them and I'm not sure, but if you can moderate the comments you can eliminate them before they show up on your blog. So sorry you got those-they are my biggest pet peeve in blogging-a disgusting nuisance!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Anne. I was able to go back and delete all of them and set my self up now for being able to moderate my comments. I always wanted to do that anyway. This situation forced me to sit down for ten minutes and actually get it done. Pray for me please. Getting ready to take my second child off to college. Baby number two is off and running. I am going to miss my Lizzy!
ReplyDeleteI added myself to follow your blog. You are more than welcome to visit mine and become a follower if you want to.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless You ~Ron
